In Hendersonville, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across North Carolina, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open Open 24 hours. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Mountain Energy Truck Stop at (828) 687-0402; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 1,025 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Hendersonville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Hendersonville follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The owner needs to post clear signs on the coffee machines showing the prices. I came in to pay for my items and had no idea the coffee flavors had different prices. I like to mix coffee flavors, and cashier G. Blaise accused me of stealing coffee simply because I mixed two different flavors. Other customers around me could hear him say it, which was embarrassing and unprofessional. I also purchased 89 gallons of diesel, and most truck stops usually offer a free drink with that amount of fuel, but instead I was charged twice for one medium-sized cup of coffee. I did not see any prices posted on the coffee machines. Instead of accusing customers of stealing, management should clearly display the pricing information first. Here are 2 receipts as a proof.

Dude.... NEVER ANY TOILET PAPER. Always looks like a confetti party in the bathroom with paper always torn up and thrown on the floor. 2nd and 3rd shift on God ... NEVER CLEAN. Boiled peanuts are freaking NASTY. That water is black cause they just keep dumping new cans in the pots, and never clean or change them out. Even the 3rd shift clerks advise not to get any peanuts from here due to it..... Even though.. confusing as to why a employee is warning me of it and not changing it out...? Showers are freaking nasty. Half assed cleaned. I've been coming here every week for several weeks and it's been like this. The workers here are nice people, but must be just lazy as complete hell. Hardly ever any soap in bathrooms... So if there's no soap in bathrooms.... Then how are the employees washing their hands after using the bathroom too? Let that sink in.

The incident that occurred was not okay. The older man trying to get food was extremely irate and very disrespectful toward the worker. He was loud enough to be heard from the gas station side. I entered through the gas station entrance, as I usually do, to get gas and snacks while waiting for my chicken meal, and I witnessed the entire situation. The level of disrespect was insane. Iβve been a regular at this place for years since I live in the area, and Iβve never had any issues. The worker handled himself professionally, and Iβm genuinely proud of how well he managed the situation. I deal with grown people every day, and itβs ridiculous how some choose to act. People need to enter stores and establishments with common sense, respect, and basic human decency.

Sloooooowest gas pumps on earth. Then you have to walk inside to get your fuel receipt because there is no printer paper in the pump or its broken. Then you have to know how much your gas was because you cant just tell them what pump you were at. And it all makes sense because the employees looked like they were not very happy to be there. But I dont blame them. Sorry friends.
